Therapy for Individuals

  • You keep ending up in the same kind of relationship, with different people

  • You fall fast and hard — and then spend the whole relationship waiting for it to fall apart

  • Someone shows up for you and something in you pulls away, even though that's not what you want

  • You give and give — and somehow still end up feeling invisible

  • You mistake intensity for intimacy — and you're starting to realize it

  • You love deeply but you don't quite trust it when someone loves you back

  • You've been told you're "too much" — or you've made yourself smaller so you wouldn't be

  • You're not sure you know how to be in a relationship without losing yourself

  • You know what you want; what's keeping you from getting there?

  • You're tired of attracting the same type of person and wondering why

  • You want to show up to dating as someone who knows their own worth

  • You're ready to stop waiting to feel ready and actually do the work

  • You are your own harshest critic and you're exhausted by it

  • You don't really know who you are when you're not taking care of someone else

  • You've spent so long adapting to others that you've lost connection to yourself

  • You want to feel at home in your own body, mind and life

  • You're high-functioning on the outside and quietly struggling on the inside

  • Something feels off — you can't quite name it, but you know it's there

  • You're coming out of a relationship and trying to make sense of what happened

  • You're newly single and terrified of repeating old patterns

  • You are soon to be an empty nester

  • Retirement is on the horizon

  • You're at a crossroads and not sure who you are or what you want next

You might be looking for individual therapy if...

Perhaps you are single and want a healthy relationship

You realize the relationship you have with yourself is holding you back

A life transition is looming and you wonder what's next

How I can help...

I'm a person first, and a therapist, second

I'm not going to sit across from you with a clipboard and a neutral expression, nodding at everything you say. That's not how I work. I'm a real person — warm, intuitive, occasionally funny, and genuinely invested in what happens to you. I pay close attention, I trust my gut, and I have a way of hearing what's underneath what's being said. People often tell me they feel understood in a way they haven't before. That matters to me.

Together, we make sense of you inner world

My work with individuals is grounded in EFIT — Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy — the individual counterpart to the couples work I do. It's attachment-based, which means we're looking at the deep underlying patterns that shape how you relate to yourself and everyone around you. How you learned to love. How you learned to protect yourself. What you do when you feel scared or unseen or not enough. Those patterns make sense — they were survival strategies once. But they may be running your life in ways that aren't serving you anymore.

If the Enneagram speaks to you, we'll use it

For people who resonate with it, I also incorporate the Enneagram (a personality typing system) — not as a label or a box to put yourself in, but as a remarkably precise map of your inner world. It can be a powerful tool for understanding why you do what you do, and for finding your way toward a freer, more grounded version of yourself.

I follow you--your goals write the map

Whether you're trying to feel more at home in yourself, or doing that inner work in service of something bigger — your romantic relationships, your kids, your friendships, your colleagues — this is the place. Secure attachment starts inside. Everything else grows from there.

And the setting doesn't hurt.

All of this happens in a yurt in a meadow. Quiet, warm, and a world away from the noise of your regular life. People exhale when they arrive. That's exactly the point.
