About Me

As a Marriage and Family Therapist, my practice centers on relationships and how individuals experience well-being within their connections with others. I believe that the quality of our lives is deeply influenced by the quality of our most important relationships. I approach personal challenges through the lens of relationship satisfaction, as many difficulties can stem from issues in these core connections.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in attachment theory, and I primarily utilize Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). This framework helps individuals and couples foster more loving, secure, and safe relationships in their lives.

I began my career as a middle school teacher, where I quickly recognized the significant connection between students' academic performance and emotional health. I observed that parental relationships greatly influenced children's well-being; students with supportive home environments generally thrived, while those exposed to conflict often struggled.

This experience, coupled with my interest in my own family, inspired me to pursue a graduate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. My goal was to develop the expertise to offer high-quality relationship therapy. I have also received advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), which focuses on strengthening marital and parent-child relationships by fostering trust, security, and secure attachment.
